He was there all along

On the ground, I fell so hard...
For a moment, I cried...
Your name I called out loud,
But only my frightened voice I heard coming from above...

But, on my cheek, I felt a gentle kiss...
A warm breath touched my lips,
Then, I looked up I saw falling million pieces,
It was our shattered precious memories...

So fast, so sudden...
A man offered me his hand,
He smiled and asked "Can you stand..?"
But I ignored him and continued to lay down...

Why I could now touch the sky?
Why I could now step on clouds not so high?
Everyone must let my wishes, and let me die...
But then, I realized I was on the strange man arms and in silence he cried...
